I miss the love

Oh woe is me
If this shall now be
The closest companion
That I'll ever see.

This is my wish,
To love and adore,
To finally be
With her once more.

I miss the smile,
That I've never seen,
That lights up her face
When with me she's been.

This is my wish,
To love and adore,
To finally be
With her once more.

I miss the voice,
That I've never heard,
Whenever she speaks
Or whispers a word.

This is my wish,
To love and adore,
To finally be
With her once more.

I miss the hand,
That I've yet to hold,
That silently speaks
Of feelings untold.

This is my wish,
To love and adore,
To finally be
With her once more.

I miss the scent,
That I've yet to smell,
That stays with me still,
When we bid farewell.

This is my wish,
To love and adore,
To finally be
With her once more.

I miss the mouth,
That I've yet to kiss
With passion unmatched,
And unrivaled bliss.

This is my wish,
To love and adore,
To finally be
With her once more.

I miss the love,
That she's yet to know,
That, when we're together,
Sets us both aglow

This is my wish,
To love and adore,
To finally be
With her once more.
A poem about missing something one's never had. I feel this way sometimes.

Still not satisfied with how the second-to-last stanza turned out, any suggestions?
